How to use

  1. Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, or other supported image.
  2. Review dimensions, format, and EXIF fields shown on the page.
  3. If you need a clean file for sharing, open Remove Image Metadata next.

Key benefits

  • Local inspection

EXIF is read in the browser. Values are not sent to ATSoftTech analytics.

  • GPS awareness

See whether location tags exist without publishing coordinates.

  • Format details

Check animation and basic file facts before you convert or compress.

What EXIF usually contains

Camera make/model, lens, exposure, and sometimes GPS. Screensheets and exported web images often have little or no EXIF left.

To share a photo without that baggage, use Remove Image Metadata, which re-encodes from pixels.

Metadata versus Image Info

Image Metadata focuses on EXIF and file identity. Image Info emphasizes technical sizing and memory estimates for developers.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you store EXIF data?

No. Inspection stays in your browser. Analytics never receive EXIF values or filenames.

Can I remove metadata?

Yes. Use the Remove Image Metadata tool to re-encode a clean file.

Why is some EXIF missing?

Messaging apps and social platforms often strip tags. Not every format stores the same fields.

Does viewing metadata upload the photo?

No. The file is read locally.
