How to use

  1. Add a JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF image.
  2. Leave the target at 100 KB, or choose another preset.
  3. Convert. The tool tries higher and lower quality settings and keeps the best one that fits.
  4. Download the file if the target was reached. If it was not, the card explains the limit and can retry with resizing.

Key benefits

  • 100 KB is a maximum

A result of 96 KB meets the target. The file is not padded up to 100 KB.

  • Highest practical quality

The search keeps the highest quality at or below the target, not the smallest file.

  • Honest misses

If 100 KB would require excessive quality loss, the result says the target was not reached.

How the 100 KB search works

The converter encodes the image, measures the real file, and repeats at other quality levels. It stops at the highest quality that fits in 100 KB.

An image that is already under 100 KB is not compressed just to make it smaller, and it is not enlarged to fill the target.

When 100 KB is unrealistic

A large, detailed photo may stay above 100 KB even at the lowest accepted quality. The page reports that instead of pretending the target was met.

Turn on resizing only if a smaller pixel size is acceptable. For stricter form limits, use 50 KB or 20 KB. For a looser limit, use 200 KB.

FAQ

Common questions

Will the file be exactly 100 KB?

No. 100 KB is the maximum. A slightly smaller file is the expected result.

What if my image is already under 100 KB?

The converter does not add bytes to reach 100 KB. It keeps a high-quality version of the requested format.

What if 100 KB cannot be reached?

You will see that the target was not reached, along with the actual size. You can retry with resizing if reducing the dimensions is acceptable.

Does every image use the same quality?

No. Each image is measured on its own, so a batch can finish at different quality values.

Is the image uploaded?

No. The search and the final file are created in your browser.
